About
Layers of Resilience: A Participatory Artwork Exploring Houston’s Collective Vision for Disaster Resilience. Local artist and sustainability advocate Gleeson Ryan will bring Layers of Resilience, a live, participatory collage installation, to the Greater Houston Environmental Summit. Over the course of two days, Gleeson will transform participant contributions (photographs, drawings, written reflections, and magazine clippings) into a large-scale collective artwork exploring disaster resilience, community, and our shared vision for Houston’s future. Come ready to reflect, contribute, and add your own layer to the story. This project is funded in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.
