Discover the art of French pâtisserie on Thursday, October 29 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Alliance Française de Houston in this hands-on workshop dedicated to Tarte Tatin. Guided by pastry chef BethAnne Moskov, participants in small groups will learn how to prepare this classic upside-down apple tart from scratch, including preparing and caramelizing apples, assembling, and baking for a golden finish. Whether you're an experienced home baker or trying French pastry for the first time, all levels are welcome. The workshop is taught in English, and each participant receives a bilingual recipe in French and English to take home. Bring your own apron. Admission is $30 for members and $40 for non-members, limited to sixteen participants.
