About
Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 11am, Houston Grand Opera's Storybook Opera presents "Opera Cat" in recognition of World Opera Day. Alma the cat lives with Madame SoSo, an opera diva. When Madame rehearses, Alma softly sings along, but Madame doesn't know her secret and pays her little attention. On the night of the big performance, Madame comes down with laryngitis and Alma finally gets her chance to prove she is no ordinary animal. This humorous, heartwarming story resonates with anyone who has ever longed for a moment in the spotlight. Admission is $10 for adults and children 1 year and older. Reserve tickets at bit.ly/TWCMtickets. Museum hours: Tuesday-Friday 9:30am-4pm, Saturday 10am-5pm.
