Lucy Wang will guide participants through the creative process of writing an original 10-minute play. This hands-on workshop explores the essentials of dramatic storytelling, including creating compelling characters, developing conflict, writing engaging dialogue, and structuring a concise, impactful story. By the end of the weekend, participants will have the skills and confidence to complete a 10-minute script ready for performance or further development. Workshop Schedule: Friday, October 23, 6:30–9:00 PM; Saturday, October 24, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM; Sunday, October 25, 1:00–5:00 PM. Writers who complete the workshop will receive first consideration when scripts are selected for The Players' 10-Minute Play Festival in February. Early registration is $195 through September 11, then the fee is $250. Lucy Wang is an award-winning, published, and produced storyteller whose work spans plays, screenplays, journalism, fiction, poetry, and live performance.
