About
Join Reyes Ramirez, Houston's 7th Poet Laureate, for a creative writing workshop that will explore portraiture through poetry. Painters have colors, and writers have words. How can a poem explore a life? We will think of those close to us and/or inspired us and then write poems in their honor. How can our words share histories and inspirations so that others can walk down paths others have created? After all, who we choose to write about reveals who we are.
