About

Jazzmeia Horn brings a powerful, expressive voice to the world of modern jazz. Drawing on her gospel roots, she explores themes of love and social change through her music. She has won both the 2013 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and the 2015 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. Born in Dallas and raised in a church-going family, Ms. Horn studied at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and The New School in New York City. Her debut album, “A Social Call,” earned a Grammy nomination, and “Love and Liberation” earned another. Today she tours the world and teaches through The Jazz Horn International Vocal Initiative. Our kitchen and bar will be open. Come hungry, the food's as good as the music. See you at the show!
