About
Basic Printer is the experimental pop project of Nashville-based Jesse Gillenwalters, blending eccentric synths, glitchy textures, and heartfelt lyrics to create 'gloitchpop'—a playful, emotionally-charged sound celebrating the weird in all of us. His debut album Good Weird is full of colorful arrangements and surprising turns. Spirit of the Bear emerged from the Northeast Ohio indie scene with a unique blend of indie rock and electronic sensibilities coupled with their affinity for pop songwriting. The band's use of two keyboard players brings unique depth to their sound, and their lifelong friendship creates magnetic chemistry onstage. They released their self-titled album in January 2021 and their new album AFFECTED BY LIGHT. The band has shared stages with Crowded House, Our Lady Peace, Ra Ra Riot, Robert DeLong, and Trash Panda. Members include James Harker (vocals, guitar), Daniel Svenson (keys, vocals), Ethan Schwendeman (keys), and Jamie Vitullo (drums). Must be 21 plus to enter unless accompanied by a parent. Advance tickets are $10; day of show tickets are $15. Schedule: 8:30 PM Big Top Opens, 9:30 PM Showtime.
