About
Schedule: Sunday, November 1, 2026, 10 a.m. Workshop. Registration is required. Asia Society Texas and instructor Jasmine Shah invite guests to join a chakra meditation workshop designed to awaken, harmonize, and deepen connections to the body's energetic landscape. In this immersive workshop, explore the chakras not simply as concepts, but as inner portals: gateways into emotion, intuition, expression, and expanded consciousness. Blending ancient wisdom with experiential practice, this offering invites participants into a deeply embodied exploration of each energy center. This workshop welcomes all, from beginners new to chakra work to those looking to deepen an existing spiritual and somatic practice, to enter a space of curiosity, healing, reflection, and inner expansion. About the speaker: Jasmine Shah is a meditation practitioner, psycho-spiritual coach, and educator. She holds a master's degree in psychology and spirituality from Columbia University, where she bridges ancient wisdom with modern science to support healing and growth. Her work explores the psyche's cycles of transformation and the wider shift toward a post-materialistic worldview. Jasmine is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, trained meditation guide, and certified relationship coach. Her psycho-spiritual approach integrates psychology, chakra healing, evidence-based practices, transpersonal principles, and Vedic spiritual traditions. She brings these modalities into both individual and organizational settings to foster holistic well-being.
