Fashion Fusion X: Inspired by Frida Kahlo features garments from the tenth anniversary of Fashion Fusion, an annual competition and runway show presented by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH), and the award-winning Fashion Design program at Houston City College (HCC). This year, HCC students and alumni designed original outfits inspired by the MFAH's recent exhibition, Frida: The Making of an Icon, which was devoted to Mexican artist Frida Kahlo's life and legacy. The garments created by HCC's emerging designers were entered into one of four representative categories: Regenerate, Reimagine, Reengineer, or Reveal.
