About
Join HonkyHunny and Caballero Cosmico for a dual vinyl night on Tuesday, July 21 and Tuesday, August 18. The event features 150 minutes of prismatic country and related music spanning the sweet and strange. Caballero was born and raised in Pasadena, Texas, home of the original Gilley's, and grew up listening to country and western and Tejano music. Hunny grew up near Houston's Esquire Ballroom, playing boogie-woogie piano and influenced by 90s country and 70s hard rock, bridging country music with blues, soul, and psychedelic sounds. The show is free with no cover charge. Must be 21 plus unless accompanied by a parent. The Big Top opens at 4pm for Cappy Hour with cheap drinks until 7pm, and Velvet Country starts at 8:30pm.
