Family Art Day is a free, family-friendly celebration of art, culture, creativity, and community. Come spend the day making, exploring, and connecting with artists, community organizations, and families from across Houston. Throughout the day, you can make art through free, hands-on activities for kids and families, meet local organizations and learn about resources for families, visit community tables and discover ways to get involved in the community, attend a Know Your Rights session led by People's Counsel, and share stories and memories through our oral history/story booth. Whether you come for an activity, to discover something new, or simply to spend time together, there will be plenty of ways to participate. Family Art Day is part of Homelands Festival, a week-long celebration of the many stories, traditions, and relationships that connect us to one another. All ages are welcome. Come as you are and make something with us!
