About

To celebrate Halloween, the Garden is offering a bonus, final dog day of the season, when "spooky pooches" (dogs in costume) can visit the Garden at no charge. Owners in costume (family-friendly, and nothing with weapons, real or costume, please) receive a $5 discount off standard admission. Discounts are granted at the ticket window upon arrival. Special thanks to our Spooky Pooch sponsor, The Corner Vet, Bellaire. Dogs not in costume are welcome too, although a $5 dog ticket applies. Members receive complimentary dog admission based on level, whether or not their dog(s) is in costume: Individual members receive one dog admission; Dual members receive two; Family members and above receive up to four. As always, responsible pet parents are reminded to leave the Garden as they found it. Dispose of waste and collect bags, water bottles, bowls, and other containers, snacks, and treats before departing, so the Garden remains a beautiful living museum for future guests. For a complete list of Garden rules and expectations, click here. Rules & Etiquette All dogs must be leashed and current on appropriate shots and registrations. Waste must be bagged and placed in trash cans. The Garden will have waste bags available in the Welcome Pavilion. Dogs and their companions must stay on marked paths and open lawn areas. Do not allow dogs into horticultural displays, to protect plants and paws. Dogs are not permitted inside the Welcome Pavilion or event tents. Dogs must be socialized and well-behaved. Staff reserve the right to ask owners of dogs in heat or seen acting aggressively to remove them from the Garden. Take responsibility for your pet's interaction with guests, especially those with children or without dogs. Other guests should ask before approaching and interacting with your dog(s).
