About

Participate in a creative ritual inspired by Día de los Muertos, blending art-making, depth psychology, and ancestral practices to explore grief, remembrance, and ongoing relationship with those who have died. Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a sacred tradition that honors the ongoing relationship between the living and the dead. The holiday understands death not as an ending, but as a transformation within the cycle of life. This experiential workshop invites participants to engage in a guided art-making ritual inspired by the ofrenda, a symbolic altar created to remember, honor, and reconnect with those who have died. Participants will explore grief, memory, and remembrance through creative expression. No prior art experience is required. Materials will be provided. Potentially appropriate for 3 CEs.
